Walworth,WI : Elkhorn woman dead following crash on June, Monday 5th 2017

A crash that resulted in the death of a 39-year-old Elkhorn woman is currently under investigation.

At approximately 6:17 a.m. Monday, the Walworth County Sheriff's Office received a report of a two-car crash at the intersection of Highway H and Territorial Road in the Town of LaGrange, according to a release issued by the Sheriff's Office.

LaGrange Fire and Rescue units and sheriff’s deputies were dispatched and upon arrival at the intersection emergency personal found two vehicles with extensive damage.

Initial investigation revealed that a white 2010 Dodge Nitro, driven by Allen Griffin, 32, of Delavan, was traveling east on Territorial Road when his vehicle allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into a grey Mazda Protégé, driven by Cesar Varela-Cuautle, 47, of Elkhorn, and carrying passenger Nancy Sanchez-Castillo, 39, of Elkhorn.
