Shawnee, OK : A 22-year-old Sasakwa man died in a Seminole County crash on May, Friday, 19th 2017

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a 22-year-old Sasakwa man died in a Seminole County crash.

The crash occurred as it was raining about 12:39 a.m. Friday on County Road NS3630 at EW 144, about 2.5 miles southwest of Sasakwa in Seminole County.

A 2013 Chevrolet pickup, driven by Matthew Summers, 22, was southbound on county road NS363 when he encountered a section of roadway washed out by the rain and struck the embankment, the OHP said.

The accident is under investigation. Troopers said seat belts were equipped, but not in use.
