A man is in critical condition after crashing into a construction site on Interstate 15 Saturday.
A 21-year-old from Riverton was driving a Ford Explorer north on I-15 near the exit for Willard Bay when his car drifted into the median — which was a closed construction site — at about 12:45 p.m., according to a statement from Utah Highway Patrol.
The driver struck four or five wooden spools, rolled his car and was ejected, according to the statement.
He was transported by medical helicopter to Ogden Regional Medical Center in critical condition, the statement said.
