ANSONIA, CT : Ansonia man charged after allegedly crashing into home on Monday, 23rd December, 2019

An Ansonia man was arrested and charged Monday after allegedly crashing into a residence on Platt Street, according to city police.Eric Ricitelli, 43, was charged with evading responsibility, reckless driving, theft of license plate, misuse of plates, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, no insurance, driving the wrong way on a one-way street and possession of drug paraphernalia, Lt. Patrick Lynch said in a release.
Ansonia officers responded to the Platt Street home after it was struck at approximately noon Monday, according to the release.
Lynch said a local resident told police that a white man wearing a dark jacket, bleeding from the head, had walked away from the crash.
