Troopers are investigating a crash that left two people dead in Gaston County Sunday morning.Troopers have identified the victims of the crash as Sherry Ivicsics,57, and Michael Ivicsics, 45. Troopers said the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed.Troopers told Channel 9 a man and woman were killed instantly when the Chevrolet they were in veered off Dallas Spencer Mountain Road, slammed into two brick columns, went airborne and then slammed into a tree just before 10 a.m.
