Milwaukee, WI : Eastbound lanes of I-94 near Miller Park now open following crash on Thursday, July 17, 2014
An accident that closed the eastbound lanes of Interstate 94 near Miller Park for hours has been cleared.
The Department of Transportation said the crash blocked all eastbound lanes near the Highway 41/Stadium Interchange starting around 9:30 a.m.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office said a semi-truck hit the bridge at Mitchell Boulevard.
A truck that apparently lost its rear box just underneath the Stadium Interchange.
The driver was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The left lane of traffic was opened around noon and all lanes were opened to traffic at 12:38 p.m.
The Sheriff's Office said the bridge was inspected by DOT inspectors and is safe.
