Tucson, AZ : Three people died in a one-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 10 at Houghton Road in Tucson on Friday afternoon, February 20, 2015

Three people died in a one-vehicle rollover crash on Friday afternoon that closed westbound lanes of Interstate 10 at Houghton Road in Tucson, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

The DPS originally reported that there were two vehicles involved in the crash.

According to the DPS, the driver of a westbound SUV was drifting toward the left lanes, then over-corrected, lost control, and the vehicle rolled over.

The driver was sent to a local hospital for treatment. Three other people in the vehicle, a 59-year-old woman, a 65-year-old woman and a 70-year-old man, were ejected and died.

Their names were not immediately released, pending notification of next of kin.

According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the highway reopened around 6 p.m.
