FRESNO COUNTY, CA : Crash involving big rig slows traffic on Hwy. 41 south of Fresno on Friday, 28th July 2023

A crash involving a pickup and a big rig is slowing traffic on Highway 41 south of Fresno Friday morning.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. at Hwy. 41 and Adams Avenue near Easton.

CHP says the driver of the big rig was traveling south on 41 when the driver of the pickup going west ran the stoplight and was hit by the semi.

They say the driver of the pickup was not wearing a seatbelt and was taken to the hospital with major injuries.
