Pearl City, HI: A portion of Hoomalu St. in Pearl City closed after pedestrian accident on Wednesday, July 15th 2015

Police have closed a portion of Hoomalu Street in Pearl City after a pedestrian accident.The crash happened at about 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.According to the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services, a 25-year-old man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.Police say traffic from Noelani Street is being rerouted to Hookanike Street at this time.
