A Missouri man was killed in a motorcycle vs. car crash on Saturday.

The crash was reported on Highway 2 at Lake Road about 5:25 p.m.

The State Patrol Crash reports shows a Harley Davidson motorcycle driving by George Peter, 56, of Clearmont, Missouri, was northbound on Lake Road. He was behind a group of motorcycles that had stopped at a stop sign along Highway 2.

Troopers said Peter drove around the group and failed to stop at the stop sign and was hit by a Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by Sandra Wakefield, 71, of Bedford.

Peter was killed in the crash. Wakefield was injured.

The crash remains under investigation.
