Pittsburg, CA : Driver injured after truck flips after crash on Highway 4 near Loveridge Road on Monday, September 22, 2014

The driver of a pickup truck suffered only minor injuries after colliding with a car on a highway and flipping over onto a frontage road, the California Highway Patrol said. The wreck happened just after 5 a.m. Monday on westbound Highway 4 near Loveridge Road. After the collision, the truck ended up on its roof on California Street. According to the CHP, the truck crashed through a freeway barrier before overturning. The driver of the other car was not injured. According to a CHP log, police were investigating whether the two cars may have been racing before the crash. Pittsburg police also were on the scene along with the CHP.
