Fresno, CA : 61-year-old woman was killed early Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash on July 30th 2014
A 61-year-old Fresno woman was killed early Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash west of Fresno, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The woman, who was not named pending notification of family, was driving a 2004 Honda east on Jensen Avenue west of Brawley Avenue at 5:40 a.m. when the Honda crossed the line and collided with a 2002 Chrysler driven by Alejandro DeSantiago, 30, of Selma.
The Honda driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was thrown from her vehicle. She was taken to Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
DeSantiago sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Community Regional. Two passengers in his car were not injured.
Drugs and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash, the CHP said. The accident is under investigation.
