Brookhaven, MS : Brandon teen injured after horrible crash on interstate 55 in Lincoln County on Wednesday, May 25, 2016

Mississippi Highway Patrol investigated a crash on I-55.

At around 3 pm, 18-year-old Jason Bates, from Brandon, was driving north on I-55 in Lincoln County.

He ran off the road to the left and crashed into a guard rail, which caused his truck to roll over several times.

Bates was taken to King Daughters Hospital in Brookhaven and then air lifted to UMMC with serious injuries.

The accident is still under investigation.
