Beggs man is dead after crashing his pickup on Dentonville Road in Okmulgee County

A Beggs man is dead after crashing his pickup on Dentonville Road in Okmulgee County, an Oklahoma Highway Patrol collision report says.

Kode Lane Stuart, 40, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Stuart was northbound when he ran off the left side of the road, overcorrected, ran off the right side and struck several trees, OHP said.

He was partially ejected from the truck.

Stuart was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
