Alameda County, CA : Deadly crash at the intersection of Grant Line Road and Altamont Pass Road on Saturday, 14th December, 2019

Authorities are investigating a fiery fatal crash early Saturday morning in eastern Alameda County.

The two-car crash was reported at 5:10 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Grant Line Road and Altamont Pass Road, west of Mountain House, according to the California Highway Patrol.

It involved a minivan and a sedan, which reportedly caught fire after the collision, authorities said.

Firefighters and the Alameda County Coroner’s Office were called to the crash.
