Broomall, PA : Multi-vehicles were involved in crash near Northbound Blue Route at 6:30 a.m on April 29th 2014

The northbound Blue Route is back open in Broomall after a multi-vehicle crash.

The accident happened at 6:30 a.m. Tuesday just past the Broomall exit.

Police say 3 vehicles were involved in the crash.

Images from Chopper 6 HD over the scene showed medics extricating a person from a white sedan. A gold-colored sedan located some distance away appeared to have spun out as a result of the collision.
Action News is told at least 2 people were injured. There was no immediate word on the extent of the injuries.

The accident scene was reported cleared before 8:00 a.m., but northbound traffic remained backed up for miles approaching the scene.
