Hampton ,NH : Driver charged with DUI, pedestrian taken to hospital following crash on early Tuesday morning ,July 21st 2015
A Dover teen was charged with driving under the influence and a Hampton man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash early Tuesday morning, according to authorities.
State police said a Nissan Sentra, driven by Jacob Bailey, 18, of Dover, was traveling south on Ashworth Avenue in Hampton between K and L streets around 12:15 a.m. when it struck Paul Fields, 28, of Hampton while he was walking.
Bailey was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Fields was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the investigation is ongoing.
