Barstow, CA : Woman killed in Fort Irwin crash on Monday, March 6, 2017

Authorities identified a 41-year-old Lancaster woman who died in a rollover crash early Monday.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner division said Ivonne Iturralde died in the crash, which occurred on Fort Irwin Road north of Interstate 15.

Authorities said Iturralde was headed south on Fort Irwin Road when, for reasons yet to be determined, she lost control of her Honda Civic, crossed into the northbound lane of traffic and left the roadway at the east shoulder.

Barstow CHP Officer Brian Benson said Iturralde was ejected from the vehicle, which was roughly 100 feet from the road.

Iturralde was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

The crash remains under investigation by the Barstow CHP office.
