Broomfield, CO : Broomfield woman identified in fatal crash on Wednesday, 4th April 2018
The Broomfield woman who died in a one-vehicle rollover Wednesday morning has been identified as 33-year-old Sarah Bush.
Broomfield police closed westbound lanes of Northwest Parkway on Tuesday morning for several hours as they investigated a fatal crash near Sheridan Boulevard.
Police spokeswoman Joleen Reefe said an officer was patrolling the area at about 2:45 a.m. when they discovered an SUV in a ditch near on the north side of the Northwest Parkway and what appeared to be the driver about 20 feet away.
The person, whom police believe was the only person in the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer, was pronounced dead on scene.
The cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries, according to a news release from the Office of the Coroner for Adams and Broomfield Counties.
Motorists were asked to avoid the area as police continued their investigation.
