HANNIBAL, MO : New London woman injured in head-on crash south of Hannibal on Tuesday, 20th March 2018

A New London woman suffered only minor injuries in a head-on crash Tuesday night south of Hannibal.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Dixie M. Agrella Grue, 44, was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Impala driving south on Owens Avenue when she collided head-on with a 1998 Ford Ranger driven by Steven A. McMillen, 40, of New London, who was traveling north. The two cars crash on a crest of a hill north of Carrs Lane.

The crash occurred at 8:27 p.m. a half-mile south of Hannibal. The patrol said McMillen failed to drive on the right half of the road, and the vehicles struck head-on.

Agrella Grue was taken by Marion County Ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital with minor injuries.

The patrol said she was wearing a seat belt, but McMillen was not.

Assisted were the Ralls County Sheriff's Department, Ralls County Rural Fire Department and Marion County Ambulance.
