LISBON, OH : Lisbon man dies in Route 164 crash on Friday, 28th December 2018

A Lisbon man was killed early Friday morning after his vehicle went left of center on state Route 164. The highway patrol is investigating the crash and according to preliminary reports, Christopher T. Jarome, 29, Lisbon, was driving a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria north on state Route 164 and went left of center into a 2012 black Buick Lacrosse driven by Christopher W. Kramer, 49, Austintown.The accident occured just after 6 a.m. near the intersection of Leetonia Road on the northern edge of Center Township.

Jarome was taken to the Salem Regional Medical Center after sustaining fatal injuries from the crash and was pronounced dead at the hospital. Kramer was transported to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Boardman with non-life-threatening injuries.

The patrol said both drivers were wearing their seat belts and alcohol and/or drugs does not appear to be a factor.
