SOUTH WEBER, UT : UHP investigating why woman was on Highway 89 on foot before being struck, killed on Tuesday, 19th December 2023

A 40-year-old woman in Davis County on Tuesday was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash involving multiple vehicles on Highway 89, authorities stated.

The crash happened at approximately 8:50 p.m. Dec. 19, just south of South Weber Drive in South Weber, where the woman was reportedly on foot in the southbound lanes near mile post 405.

A woman was killed when she struck by a vehicle on Highway 89 approximately three-quarters of a mile south of South Weber Drive.

Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Cameron Roden said the pedestrian was struck by a van before being hit by a second vehicle.
