Plum, PA : 37-year-old Cory Dee killed in crash after stealing car on Coxcomb Hill Road early Saturday, April 30, 2016

A woman driving a stolen vehicle died in a crash early Saturday in Plum.

Police confirmed the crash on Coxcomb Hill Road. Police said the woman stole the car from a man who saw her walking along the road and stopped to give her a ride around 2:30 a.m.

The pair stopped at a convenience store in New Kensington, where the driver went inside to buy something. While he was inside, the woman drove off in the car.

The Allegheny County medical examiner identified the woman as 37-year-old Cory Dee of Tarentum.

Dee crashed the car on Coxcomb Avenue Road, a little over 2 miles away from the convenience store. The vehicle rolled several times.

The autopsy showed Dee died of multiple blunt force injuries.
