Macomb County, MI : Motorcyclist critical after collision with SUV in Clinton Township on Friday, May 13, 2016

A 58-year-old Sterling Heights man is in critical condition days after his motorcycle collided with an SUV in Clinton Township, police said.

The crash occurred around 11:40 p.m. Friday at Metro Parkway and Gratiot, Clinton Township police said in a statement. A gray Ford Explorer was in the right-turn lane of westbound Metro Parkway when it was struck by the cyclist on his black or gray Harley-Davidson.

It was unclear if alcohol or drugs played a factor. No other injuries were reported by police.
