A 23-year-old Hartsville man died Monday afternoon of injuries he suffered in a Sunday evening crash.
Darlington County Coroner J. Todd Hardee has identified the driver as Michael McCoy.
McCoy was driving west on High Point Road at 5:45 p.m. Sunday in a 2000 Buick Sedan when, at the intersection of 14th Street, ran off the right side of the road and into a house, said Cpl. Sonny Collins, South Carolina Highway Patrol.
McCoy died Monday afternoon, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The crash remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol, Darlington County Sheriff's Office and Coroner's Office.
