Pawtucket, RI : Pedestrian who was walking on I-95 is dead after being struck by a car early Thursday morning August 7th 2014

A woman who was walking on I-95 South in Pawtucket is dead after being struck by a car around 2 a.m. The woman was transported to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of her family. Police say it is unclear why she was walking on the highway. The driver who struck her has not been charged.
