SALT LAKE CITY, UT : Driver at large after deadly Salt Lake City hit-and-run on Friday, 20th October 2023

A driver remains at large after a deadly hit-and-run that killed one man late Friday in Salt Lake City.

Police say the man was walking southbound at 1179 Redwood Road when he was hit at around 11 p.m. A person had called 911 after finding the man in the road.

The unidentified man died at the scene while the driver of the vehicle left the area. The driver's identity, or the make and model of the car, is not known, although the car is likely to have front-end and windshield damage.
