ST. LOUIS, MO : 6-year-old dies after UTV accident in St. Louis County on Sunday, 4th August 2024

A 6-year-old died after a UTV accident in St. Louis County Sunday night.

According to police, the child was a passenger in a Polaris UTV that an older child was driving. The older child lost control of the UTV, causing it to roll and eject the 6-year-old, who was not wearing a helmet. The 6-year-old was taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead. He was identified Monday as Cristobal Deleon.

Police said the crash happened around 7:45 p.m. in the 4500 block of Dieckmann Lane in Florissant.
