Five Juveniles hurt and taken hospital in north Phoenix with rollover on Arizona 51 to Loop 101.

Five juveniles were taken to hospitals Monday afternoon following a rollover crash on Arizona 51 in north Phoenix, authorities said.

The accident occured at about 2:30 p.m. on northbound Arizona 51 as it transitions to Loop 101 eastbound, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

Raul Garcia, an Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman, said five minors in the single-vehicle rollover were transported to hospitals, but their conditions were not immediately available.

The Arizona Department of Transportation sent a tweet at about 5 p.m. that said the transition ramp from Arizona 51 to eastbound Loop 101 was open again after being closed for more than two hours.
