First responders tended to an apparent two-car collision Thursday afternoon near the West Street entrance into the Big Y parking lot.
Police, firefighters and a pair of ambulances, one from Action EMS, the other from County Ambulance, responded to the crash, which occurred at approximately 2 p.m.
A red Hyundai Sonata with heavy damage to its passenger side could be seen facing east in the westbound lane along with a black Saturn Vue with visible damage to its driver's side front end.
The conditions of the drivers, whether there were additional passengers in either of the vehicles and the circumstances of the crash were not immediately available from city police.
