PRESCOTT, AZ : Crash involving a cement mixer truck leaves woman dead outside Prescott on Thursday, 6th June 2024

A driver tried to pass another driver outside of Prescott and it ended with a deadly crash involving a cement truck.

It happened just before noon.

According to the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, a driver in a car was heading north on Pioneer Parkway after getting the green light at Williamson Valley Road when another driver tried to pass using the right lane, which was ending.

The second driver hit the first car, and the second car then spun into oncoming traffic.

A cement truck driver tried to avoid the second car but couldn’t and slammed into it, YCSO said.
