Two-Vehicle Crash Near Sherman Kills Tom Bean Woman

A woman is dead after an early-morning crash just south of Sherman.
Ashlynn Deshazo, 23, was killed when her car struck a guardrail and then veered into oncoming traffic, striking another driver's door, troopers said.The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. on Saturday on Highway 11 near F.M. 1417.Airron Gaspar, 21, of Sherman, was taken to Texoma Medical Center in serious condition with a broken wrist, according to the Department of Public Safety.Deshazo was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:10 a.m. by Justice of the Peace Frank Budra.The cause of the crash is under investigation.
