LESSOR, WI : 13-year-old dies in Shawano County ATV crash on Wednesday, 15th May 2024

A 13-year-old girl died in an ATV crash in Shawano County Wednesday night.

The crash happened on private property in the town of Lessor, near Landstad and Two Creek roads. A 911 caller said the girl wasn’t conscious and wasn’t breathing.

Emergency responders, including the ThedaStar medical helicopter, responded to the scene and attempted to revive her, but the child died before she could be transported.

The girl was the only rider on the ATV. The sheriff’s office says it won’t release the name out of respect to the child’s family but says she was a student in Bonduel.
