LEXINGTON, KY : Driver faces DUI charge after early-morning crash on Tuesday, 28h May 2024

A driver is facing a list of charges, including DUI, after a crash early Tuesday morning.

It happened just before 4 a.m. at Versailles Road and Hamilton Park.

Police say a man was under the influence when he was driving inbound on Versailles Road, veered into oncoming traffic, and hit a utility pole and a wall.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No one else was hurt.

The driver is being charged with DUI, first-degree wanton endangerment, trafficking in synthetic drugs and driving without a license.
