CRESTVIEW, FL : Patrol car crashes in funeral home parking lot on Tuesday, 28th August 2018

A Crestview Police Department vehicle was involved in a minor crash Tuesday night while driving in reverse gear in a Davis Watkins Funeral Home parking lot.

Jeffrey Loken, 34, of Crestview, was stopped in the Davis Watkins parking lot at 420 E. Pine Ave. at about 7 p.m., according to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol.

A second car, driven by 81-year-old Carl Spears of Crestview, pulled into the parking lot and stopped behind the police vehicle, according to the release. The car went into reverse gear and crashed into the left front of Spear’s 2007 Toyota Tundra.

Both vehicles received minimal damage. No injuries were reported.
