TOLEDO, OH : Car crashes into TARTA bus on Airport Hwy on Friday, 21st June 2024

A car crashed into a TARTA bus in Toledo Friday morning.

The crash occurred on Airport Highway near Eastgate Road on June 21. When 13 Action News crews arrived on scene around 7:45 a.m., they saw a black car with its front end smashed and a TARTA bus with damage to its back left side.

13 Action News crews witnessed officials spreading sand on the road near the TARTA bus as they worked to clean up the scene. Passengers who were on the bus were moved to the sidewalk until a second TARTA bus arrived to pick them up.

At least one person was treated at the scene.
