CUMBERLAND, MD : A vehicle accident on Tuesday, October 3, 2017

A vehicle accident has closed the city intersection of Park Street, Baltimore Avenue, Henderson Avenue and Front Street, Cumberland Police said Tuesday afternoon.

A vehicle accident resulted in a downed power line, and the closure is expected to remain in effect until about 7 p.m., police said.

Police said motorists should use alternate routes.
