FRANKLIN COUNTY, PA : 21-year-old Chambersburg man killed in multi-vehicle crash on Friday, 9th August 2024

A 21-year-old man has died following a crash in Chambersburg Friday afternoon.

According to a press release, 21-year-old Jamaree Moore, of Chambersburg was traveling north in a motorcycle on the right curb lane of Wayne Avenue when he rear-ended a 2020 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The impact caused theMitsubishi Eclipse to move into the oncoming traffic lane, striking a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado that had been traveling southbound on Wayne Avenue at the intersection of South 2nd Street.

Moore had been traveling at a high rate of speed when the crash occurred, police said. He was wearing a helmet.

Moore was pronounced dead on scene by the Franklin County Coroner's Office. The other drivers were uninjured.
