ARLINGTON, WA : An 83-year-old man suffered serious injuries in a crash on April, friday 14th 2017

An 83-year-old man suffered serious injuries in a crash Friday in Arlington.

It happened about 3 p.m. along 204th Street NE. Three vehicles collided near the intersection with 77th Avenue NE, city spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said.

The man was taken in an ambulance to Cascade Valley Hospital. He was expected to be transferred in a helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The road was closed for several hours.
