Schenectady, NY : Mechanicville man dies in Halfmoon crash on Wednesday afternoon, 24th August, 2016

A Mechanicville man died Wednesday afternoon after his car went off Pruyn Hill Road, the Saratoga County Sheriff's Office said.

Thomas J. Waldron, 75, was found deceased outside his vehicle, which had gone into brush, deputies said.

Deputies said they were called at 3:19 p.m. after a one-car accident and arrived to find a silver Toyota Corolla in brush off the road and Waldron on the ground outside the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Saratoga County Assistant Coroner Anthony Perniciaro.
