No injuries were reported after a car crashed into a tree and flipped on its side in West Duluth Wednesday evening.

Duluth police responded to a call of a vehicle on its side on the 4300 block of West 8th Street at about 8:16 p.m., police spokesman Ron Tinsley reported. The 32-year-old driver fled the scene on foot, but was later located. Alcohol is suspected to be a contributing factor in the crash, but the incident remains under investigation, Tinsley said.
