Rathdrum, ID : Motorcyclist dies in Rathdrum accident on Thursday, 18th July 2019

A motorcyclist died in a two-vehicle accident in Rathdrum on Thursday.

Idaho State Police said David L. Bedford, 52, of Rathdrum was traveling westbound on state Highway 53 on a yellow-and-black Harley Davidson when he swerved to avoid a flock of turkeys in the roadway around 5:30 p.m.

Bedford went left of center and lost control of the motorcycle, colliding with an eastbound tractor trailer. He was wearing a helmet.
