New Orleans, LA : 56-year-old motorcyclist dead when his bike crashed in to the rear of a moving van on early Thursday morning September 11th 2014

New Orleans police say a 56-year-old motorcyclist dead when his bike crashed in to the rear of a moving van. The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. Thursday in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 10 on the high-rise bridge. Police say the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim's name is being withheld pending family notification. The accident remains under investigation.
