Louisville, KY : Stephanie Goebel, 46, dead in fatal car crash in Fairdale on Sunday morning, March 15, 2015

Stephanie Goebel, 46, was killed in a car crash that happened early Sunday morning in Fairdale, according to police.

Officials say the crash happened just before 3 a.m. on Mt. Holly Road, near Fairdale Road.

LMPD Public Information Officer Dwight Mitchell said a yellow Corvette lost control, flipped over and hit a utility pole.
Goebel was pronounced dead the scene at 3:06 a.m. She died from multiple blunt force injuries.

The driver of the car, Anthony Brigmon, 50, is charged with murder and DUI.
