Bakersfield, CA : Coroner releases name of man killed in Monday crash on Monday, March 13th 2017

The name of a 68-year-old man killed in a crash northwest of downtown Bakersfield on Monday has been released.

Abel Valenzuela died at the scene of the 10:51 a.m. crash at 24th and Alder streets, according to a coroner's office release. He was a passenger of a vehicle struck by a utility pole that traveled through a window, the release said.
