Hagerstown, MD : Name of motorcyclist released after Hagerstown crash on Wednesday, 17th July 2019

Hagerstown police have released the name of a 50-year-old man injured Wednesday afternoon when the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a minivan on Eastern Boulevard.

Police said the motorcyclist, Robin Lamer, was taken to Meritus Medical Center east of Hagerstown.

The hospital Lamer listed in serious condition Thursday night.

Police said the motorcycle was heading north on Eastern Boulevard when it collided with a southbound Honda minivan making a left turn onto Professional Court.

Maryland State Police were called to help with the investigation.

Police said the driver of the minivan, James Thomas, 75, of Hagerstown was not injured.
