Two Hart County men were hurt when their pickup truck was hit by an SUV on Thursday.
The Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green responded to a two-vehicle injury collision at about 10:40 a.m. Thursday on U.S. 31-E at the intersection of KY 218 in Hart County, according to a KSP release.
The preliminary investigation indicated that Krista Mitchell, 22, of Bloomington, Indiana was driving a white 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer and was attempting to pull onto US 31-E from KY 218 when she struck a black 2005 Chevrolet Silverado that
was traveling northbound on US 31-E and was being driven by Gilbert Pysher, 67, of Horse Cave.
Gilbert Pysher and his passenger, Kenneth Pysher, 62, of Hardyville, were both transported by Hart County Emergency Medical Service to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The investigation is still ongoing and being led by Trooper First Class Timmy Jewell. He was assisted by Master Trooper Lonnie Hodges, Hart County EMS and the Horse Cave Fire Department.
