Pasadena,TX : One dies in crash near Texas Medical Center on may, Friday 26th 2017

A man died early Friday after he drove off a road near the Texas Medical Center and hit a brick retaining post.
The driver was headed eastbound on Holcombe, near Brays Bayou, when he lost control around 2 a.m., said Lt. Larry Crowson with the Houston Police Department.
The driver veered off of the road, traveled over a curb and slammed into the brick post.
The driver was described only as an adult man. There was no one else in the car.
It appeared the driver had been speeding prior to driving off the road, Crowson said.
Police closed Holcombe between Cambridge and South MacGregor for several hours after the crash.
