Spokane, WA : Man arrested for DUI after two-car wreck in Spokane Valley early Thursday morning, January 21, 2016
Authorities are investigating a two-car wreck that happened in Spokane Valley early Thursday morning.
According to police, just before 2:00 a.m. on Broadway and Pines in Spokane Valley Russell E. Moody, 28, of Cutbank, Montana, was driving south on Pines slammed his truck into a car heading east on Broadway driven by a 48-year-old Spokane woman.
Authorities said the woman's car flew about 100 feet of the road. Medics took her to the hospital where she is expected to be okay.
Moody was not injured and police arrested him on suspicion of drunk driving.
Traffic was impacted for a few hours while police investigated, but the roads have since reopened.
