Danbury, CT : Motorcyclist injured in Danbury crash on Sunday, 9th October 2016

A motorcyclist was taken to the hospital Saturday after crashing into a car on Clapboard Ridge Road.
Oberdan Magalhaes, 29, of Danbury was heading southbound in his motorcycle on Clapboard Ridge Road shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday.
Berno Santos Damata Jr., 28, of Danbury, who was driving in the opposite direction, attempted to turn left into the driveway of 30 Clapboard Ridge Road as Magalhaes approached. Magalhaes hit the passenger side of Damata Jr.’s Nissan Altima.
Officials took Magalhaes to Danbury Hospital for injuries.
Police closed the road in both directions between Ventura Avenue and Ridgewood Street.
